Due to my music magazine being based around the pop genre, I thought that it would be good to research recent music which could be represented in my magazine. Meghan Trainor's song 'Lips are moving' is a catchy, upbeat song about a relationships which young teenagers who are into pop tend to love. It further gives me an idea of what kind of person my 'artist' could represent by looking at certain aspects, for example the type of clothing styles and colour schemes used within the video. The colours used in the video are also common in pop genres which are further used in music magazines. This gave me inspiration for what kind of colours I should include in my articles, for example pink, baby blue, white and other pastel looking colours.
